![]() In a slot canyon, the sandstone walls narrow to a point where they can only accommodate one person’s width. Because it’s primarily been shaped by water, Utah sandstone has been carved into smooth and sexy curves that look less like rock and more like wood or clay. Its swirls and striations of orange, red, coral, pink, beige, and every other possible shade along that spectrum are stunning. ![]() You’ve seen pictures of them, and so has everyone else-which, of course, is why visiting them is so popular. Slot canyons are all the rage in Southern Utah. Anyway, apologies for the extended hiatus, and thanks for your patience! ![]() I’m back, though recent events might constrain the distance and novelty of future explorations…or not it’s hard to say. After multiple years of posting at least once a month, I fell off the wagon. Okay, I know, it’s been more than six months since my last post.
